The project for the House in Eldenaer Höfen, started with the necessity for the owners to find a good design for the living space, where the widht of the room (about 5 meters), left some question marks about a good distribution of the furniture.

The clients asked to ensure the presence of a comfortable tv-area, a dining area, as well as enough storage space.

The project also aims at obtaining a good overall design feeling with a contained budget.

Special care had to be taken in creating a space which could also be comfortable for pets and could allow some play area for the kids.

For this reason plants and ornaments were always placed on elevated spots and reduced at its minimum.

The owners chose to opt for a scandinavian style with the addition of some light color notes.

In this option, the dining table creates a division between kitchen and living area. A little extra reading spot is created next to the window.

Option 2

Here a different option included a lower cabinet which could work as a seating spot or workstation. A different disposition of the table allows extra storage space under the seatings.
